U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack talks with host Paul Guggenheimer about farmers and others affected by flooding on the Missouri River. He says the Army Corps of Engineers needs to be more forthcoming with information.

Over the weekend, State Senator Angie Buhl attended a reception at the White House. The reception was for People For the American Way Foundation's Young Elected Officials Network. Flooding and the Keystone Oil Pipeline were among some of the topics discussed at the reception. Senator Buhl talks about what was said.

Barry Fowler is a 35-year-old rookie pitcher for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Last night, he pitched his first professional win. Fowler's major league dreams were sidetracked while several members of his family battled illnesses including cancer. He talks about why he decided to take another shot at pro baseball.

Brian Kenner is the chief of Science and Natural Resources for Badlands National Park, He discusses the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the black footed ferrets in the region and the lengths they have gone to keep them in the Badlands.

Also, SDPB's Charles Michael Ray gives a flooding update from Pierre.
