Kseniya Semenova, facilitator for a delegation of Russians taking part in an Open World program sponsored by the Open World Leadership Center and hosted by the South Dakota World Affairs Council, appears on today's show from the Children's Museum in Brookings. Semenova's group is in Brookings for presentations in which city, county, university and non-governmental organizations introduce them to concepts of American government and to build relationships.
Later, Ft. Pierre Public Works Director Brad Lawrence talks about Missouri River flooding. Lawrence believes that flooding could have been avoided had water been released earlier from the Oahe Dam as he urged in e-mails sent as early as February warning of major flooding.
