State Retirement System Increase, Pay-To-Play, and the Little League World Series

South Dakota Retirement System Executive Director Rob Wylie and Matthew Clark, state investment officer, talk about the increase in the state retirement system. It ended its financial year with $1.6 billion more than a year ago.

Representative Mark Kirkeby discusses his idea of pay-to-play. He has introduced legislation twice to support this idea of allowing schools to charge a fee to students involved in extracurricular activities.

A Harney Little League team went to the Little League World Series last week. Harney League President Jason McGough discusses the Rapid City team making it to the World Series. Also, Little League Baseball Central Region Director Nina Johnson gives insight to the World Series in Williamsport, PA.
