South Dakota native Astronaut Mike Fossum joins the show from the International Space Station. He's joined by Ron Garan, and Satoshi Furukawa. They discuss experiments they are conducting, being in space for six months at a time and what happens if Russian spacecrafts can't make trips to the station in this post-Shuttle era.
Today, the South Dakota Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the state's system for funding school districts. State Education Secretary Melody Schopp and Scott Abdallah, lead lawyer in the lawsuit, discuss the ruling.
Secretary Schopp also discusses the new South Dakota school assessment system.
