SD Rural Roads and Bridges, Clean up Efforts in Pierre/Ft. Pierre, and National Suicide Prevention Week

Carolyn Bonifas with TRIP, a national transportation research group, talks about South Dakota's rural roads and bridges. Recent findings show the state's rural roads and bridges are among the most deteriorated in the United States.

SDPB's Charles Michael Ray discusses the situation in Pierre as flood waters recede and cleanup efforts being. Also, Brad Lawrence, with the Fort Pierre Street and Utilities Department, talks about street clean up and repair.

Eric Marcus is the author of the book "Why Suicide." He talks about the book and National Suicide Prevention Week and Suicide Prevention Day in Rapid City.
