Dakota Political Junkies, "Reservation Realities," and the Indian Education Summit

The Mitchell Daily Republic's Seth Tupper and Kevin Woster with the Rapid City Journal make up this week's Dakota Political Junkies. They discuss a Nielson Bros. poll that claims Stephanie Herseth Sandlin would defeat Kristi Noem if a rematch were held today. They also talk about Senator John Thune's bid for chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, and why Al Franken is coming to South Dakota.

Annie Richards is a senior at Little Wound High School in Kyle, South Dakota. She has written, produced and performed in a short film called "Reservation Realities." It was shown at the South Dakota Film Festival. She talks about the stark realities facing Indian youth on the Pine Ridge Reservation.

Roger Campbell is the new director of Indian Education in the state Department of Education. He discusses the Indian Education Summit happening next week at the Cedar Shore Resort.
