Disorder on the Border, Human Trafficking and S.D. Shakespeare Festival

Augustana graduate and South Dakota native Cari Skogberg Eastman is the Augustana Thought Leader Forum speaker this Friday.  The title of her speech is "Disorder on the Border."  She discusses the story of immigration in the 21st century through the eyes of concerned citizens advocating for justice along what is the most heavily crossed stretch of the U.S./Mexico border.

Dr. Tomi Lee Grover appears in today's second segment.  Grover will speak tonight at the Al Neuharth Media Center on the University of South Dakota campus.  Her presentation is "Human Trafficking: Recognition and Response."  Grover is a guest of USD's Criminal Justice Club.

Chaya Gordon-Bland, Artistic Director of the South Dakota Shakespeare Festival and an Assistant Professor of Theatre at the USD College of Fine Arts, talks about today's announcement that "As You Like It" will be performed at the festival's inaugural event next June in Vermillion.
