SDPB's Stephanie Rissler provides an update on the state legislature.

Next are the Political Junkies, Jonathan Ellis, reporter/news analyst of the Argus Leader and Jon Hunter, Publisher of the Madison Daily Leader.  Topics for today include education, recent press releases on abortion, cracker barrels, and teachers being quieted in Sioux Falls. They also discuss Congressional delegation's reaction to the Obama budget and how it will affect South Dakota projects like Lewis & Clark, etc. 

Bill Peterson, the new CEO of the Days of '76 Museum in Deadwood, is going to Washington, DC, on February 27 - 28. He discusses advocating for museums at Museums Advocacy Day 2012.  He is the current president of the Museum Association of Montana until March, 2012. The goal of Museums Advocacy Day is to give museums a voice and focus on the most critical issues facing our country today.  

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley talks about some of the issues he's pushing this session including one that cracks down on those selling certain synthetic drugs.  The Attorney General also shares his thoughts on the Senate's attempt to combine his anti-bullying legislation with Senator Dan Lederman's bill.
