Rapid City Journal columnist Kevin Woster and Madison Daily Leader Publisher Jon Hunter will cover the latest from the South Dakota Legislature. The Political Junkies talk about HB 1234 on education as well as a possible run for the State House of Representatives in District 13 by Mark Mickelson, son of the late Governor George Mickelson. 

John Koster, Conservator at the National Music Museum in Vermillion is the recipient of the USD College of Fine Arts Knutson Distinguished Professor Award for 2010-2012. Koster presents an illustrated lecture about the economic contexts in which instrument makers of the past worked.  His lecture, "Strings, Pipes, and Commerce: The Historical Economics of Musical Instrument Making," is tonight at 7:30 in the Arne B. Larson Concert Hall at the National Music Museum.

State Senator Mark Johnston (R) of Sioux Falls and State Representative Larry Lucas (D) of Mission discuss recent changes to HB 1234 and have the opportunity to talk about other legislative issues.
