Political Junkies, State Boys' Basketball Tournaments, "Kings of the Court"

The Dakota Political Junkies are Rapid City Journal reporter David Montgomery and Mitchell Daily Republic Editor Seth Tupper.  They talk on topics including Representative Kristi Noem's choice to not endorse a candidate for president and George McGovern's endorsement of Matt Varilek for U.S. House of Representatives. 

Mike Henriksen is the Co-Host of "Calling All Sports with Mark O. and Mike H." on KWSN Radio. He covers the State AA Boys Basketball Tournament in Rapid City for SDPB-TV.  He's joined by Gary Ellenbolt who is at the State B tournament for SDPB.  They preview the boys' state tournaments including the State A in Sioux Falls.  

Mike Henriksen stays with us to talk about "Kings of the Court," a one-hour documentary on South Dakota Boys high school basketball which premiers this Sunday night at 8pm Central on SDPB-TV. SDPB-TV producer, Chad Anderson, joins Henriksen in this discussion. The documentary, narrated by Henriksen, celebrates a century of state championship basketball in South Dakota using photos and footage combined with contemporary interviews.  "Kings of the Court" tells the story of the cultural phenomenon that is the South Dakota State High School Basketball Tournaments.
