Bed Bugs, Jenifer Jones and American Craft Beer Week

Denise Patton of the Sioux Falls Health Department talks about bed bugs and how they have made a resurgence in the last decade. Patton also discussed trends, characteristics of bedbugs, how to identify them, best practices to prevent and control infestations and resources for residents affected by bedbugs. Sioux Falls hasn't had much of a problem with these creatures, but city officials want people to be aware of them.

Jenifer Jones, local All Things Considered host at SDPB Radio, talks about her upcoming mission trip. Jones is embarking on a journey to 11 countries in 11 months as a member of "The World Race" squad. Last Friday was her final day on the air.

Andy Crouch of BeerScribe.com, author of Great American Craft Beers, joins Dakota Midday to talk about the popularity of craft beers. Crouch is also a columnist for BeerAdvocate Magazine and Beverage Magazine. Also, Josh Fritz, owner of Crow Peak Brewing Company in Spearfish, talks about American Craft Beer Week.
