Democratic candidate Jeff Barth talks about the upcoming June 5th primary and other issues. Barth will face fellow Democrat Matt Varilek for the right to challenge U.S. Representative Kristi Noem in the November election.

Darin Bergquist, South Dakota Secretary of Transportation, talks about summer road construction in the state, the budget and where travelers can expect delays and detours.

Linda Anderson, Executive Director of the Black Hills Playhouse, and artistic director Dan Workman join Dakota Midday to talk about the upcoming summer season and the Room Service Program renovating the playhouse dorms. The Black Hills Playhouse is a 67 year old professional summer stock theater company located in Custer State Park at the site of an old CCC camp. On Friday and Saturday, the Black Hills Playhouse opens its season with a "Party Pieces" fundraising showcase featuring a cast of alums.
