Dakota Political Junkies, Siouxland Renaissance Festival and Dr. Adrien Hannus

Argus Leader reporter/news analyst Jonathan Ellis and Madison Daily Leader publisher Jon Hunter discuss Democratic candidate Jeff Barth's five minute campaign and how it's been receiving national attention. Also, they discuss the controversial primary endorsements by Secretary of State Jason Gant and Governer Dennis Daugaard.

Anna Vorhes, Chairman of the Board for the Siouxland Renaissance Festival, talks about the festival, which is taking place this Saturday and Sunday at the W.H. Lyons Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. Also, Tristan Sutton joins Dakota Midday to talk about his working with the jousters as a squire.

Dr. Adrien Hannus, professor of anthropology and director of the Archeology Laboratory at Augustana College, talks about the science reality series show "Time Team America," which Hannus is participating in very shortly. Hannus is participating in one of the season's four episodes to be aired next year. He is serving as a specialist on early human sites in the New World for the episode featuring "Badger Hole Site: A Folson Period Bison Kill" in Oklahoma.
