This week we're featuring the Hegg Brothers Choo-Choo concert recorded at the Sioux Falls Orpheum Theatre on September 17th, 2011.
Choo-Choo was conceived by Jeremy and Jonathon Hegg. The Hegg Brothers have been a big part of the Sioux Falls music scene for years and are perhaps best known for the Hegg Brothers Holiday Jam, a show that tours the state during the Christmas season. The Choo-Choo concert featured a wide variety of music covering a 90-year time span of American history. The Hegg Brothers described Choo-Choo as a concert exploring the connections railroads have with American music and the soundtrack for American optimism.
