This week we're listening to The Kickback, recorded right here in our SDPB TV studio for No Cover No Minimum TV back in the summer of 2009.
A few months after this performance, the band's founders - brothers Billy and Danny Yost - moved to Chicago and the band's history began a new chapter. Personnel changed, the band released two EP's and received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Sound Opinion and the Chicago Sun Times. As of tonight's broadcast, The Kickback is in the midst of a Midwest tour and has upcoming gigs in Washington D.C. and New York City.
