This week we're listening to the down home music of East of Westreville. This quartet performed for SDPB's No Cover No Minimum TV show back on August 23rd, 2008.
East of Westreville is name for a little spot several miles north of Vermillion, out on Frog Creek Road, claimed by the Westre clan more than a hundred years ago. The music is old-timey, inspired by that by-gone era when families gathered around the radio.
