We All Have Hooks for Hands

No Cover No Minimum Radio - 05/26/2012

This week we're listening to the indie rock/pop/folk band We All Have Hooks for Hands, recorded in our SDPB TV studio back in May of 2008.

Brothers Eli and Isaac Show started the band with a couple of friends in 2005. It turned into a rotating musical collective of even more friends from southeastern South Dakota, and two years later they signed with the independent Minneapolis label Afternoon Records. Hooks for Hands went on to release at least three CD's and perform successful tours of the East and West coasts. The band built up a loyal following, and not just amongst their friends in Sioux Falls and Vermillion. There's something about the energy in a Hooks for Hands performance - their group approach to music making is messy but infectious, in a good way.
