State Labor Secretary Pam Roberts talks about new job projections. The South Dakota Department of Labor has released new job projections for the year 2020. With those numbers in mind, the department has targeted certain occupational areas for growth in the state.

Holly Knox Perli and Heather Knox talk about the Democratic National Convention. Holly and Heather are among the Democrats from South Dakota at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. They discussed on what's happening this week at the Time Warner Cable Arena and Bank of America Stadium.

Former SDPB news reporter and local "All Things Considered" host Jenifer Jones talks about her mission trip that she's been involved in the last couple of months. She's taking part of a mission trip that's taking her to 11 countries in 11 months that's sponsored by "The World Race." She spent August in Nepal working with women who were victims of the sex trade and their children. Also, Great Plains Zoo President and CEO Elizabeth Whealey talks about the recent births of red pandas. Red pandas have trouble thriving during their first year of life, so the cubs have been cared for in Sioux Falls' zoo's veterinary hospital.
