"On toda?s edition of Dakota Midday, Paige Baker joined host Paul Guggenheimer on the phone from Interior. Baker is Superintendent of Badlands National Park. He talked about the latest efforts to work out a general management plan with the Oglala Sioux Tribe regarding the southern half of the Badlands. This south unit lies on the Pine Ridge reservation, and some there want to see better preservation and protection of the cultural and fossil resources of the area.
