" This week the Badlands National Park will attempt to recreate history in order to water some buffalo. On Thursday and Friday, a group of volunteers will venture into the Sage Creek wilderness area and repair a washed-out stock dam using only horse-drawn implements. Badlands National Park managers say the use of teams of horses will be less intrusive to the wilderness area than motorized vehicles or dynamite.
