Harvey Dunn's art inspires South Dakota artists

Dakota Digest - 09/27/2010

On Saturday afternoon, eight South Dakota artists gathered at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City to pay homage to Harvey Dunn, the South Dakota-born illustrator, artist, and educator who died in 1952. The painters set up easels in the gallery where a number of Dunn’s paintings hang and completed their creations by the end of the day.
For today’s Dakota Digest, SDPB’s Vicky Wicks watched the artists work and asked them what they gained from the experience.
