Grades K-2 - Thirty 15-minute episodes
Encourage young students to learn basic Spanish vocabulary and increase their
awareness
and appreciation of Hispanic culture. Develop interest in the geography of
Spanish-speaking
countries and reinforce skills and concepts taught in the regular language arts
curriculum. Amigos
uses the FLEX (Foreign Language Experience) approach, which emphasizes oral
practice within
real-life situations. Students hear and repeat Spanish words and phrases
relating to numbers,
colors, food, family members, animals, clothing, body parts, and much more.
