New teacher's guides, an improved search function, and dozens of full-length
documentaries available for viewing online are just a few of the highlights of
the FRONTLINE Teacher Center.
Aimed at secondary school and college educators, the FRONTLINE Teacher Center is
designed to help teachers use FRONTLINE documentaries as a launching point for
classroom learning and discussion. Among the site's many offerings are more than
thirty online teacher's guides, each written especially for use with one or more
FRONTLINE films on diverse topics. Appropriate for use by a wide range of social
studies, language arts, health, and media literacy educators, these valuable
resources offer key background information and discussion-starter questions as
well as suggested classroom activities that build upon the issues and themes
explored in the documentaries.
The new FRONTLINE Teacher Center also enables teachers and students to view
dozens of FRONTLINE films online via streaming video, with new documentaries
added each month.
