On SDPB's February 24, 2012 edition of Statehouse - education, gaming in South Dakota and abortion are all issues that take center stage. The week started off with a visit from Congress Women Kristi Noem which is included in the program. SB 68, is the measure that will repeal the statute of limitations on certain rape cases. It was heard in committee and on the Senate floor this week. Highlights from both events are included in the program. HB 1254 which deals with the decision a woman makes prior to have an abortion was also discussed in committee and on the Senate Floor, it too is included in the broadcast. Increasing the bet limit for gaming also had it final vote this week, By the end of the week party leaders along with the Lt. Governor all shared their thoughts on week 7 of the 2012 legislative session. That's a quick look at this week's Statehouse on SDPB TV.
