On today’s Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer interviews Dr. Roy Mortinsen, of Sanford Medical Center, Vermillion Campus. He is a general practitioner at the clinic and recently returned from serving his second tour of duty in Iraq as a medic, He will be discussing his role in the military healthcare system. Next, an interview with Peggy Sanders, a farm-ranch wife and writer from Oral, South Dakota, who recently won first place in the 2007 Will Rogers Writing Contest. As usual, Robert Morast, from Sioux Falls with Sioux Falls Argus-Leader, joins us for his usual culture comment.
