"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer interviewed Winfred ""Doc"" Jackson, an Army medic who received a Purple Heart and a Silver Star for his service in Vietnam. He recently made a return trip to Vietnam to achieve some closure and upon his return to Rapid City received the welcome home he never got. Then Paul spoke with Aaron Glantz, a Rosalynn Carter Fellow for Mental Health Journalism at the Carter Center and author of the book ""The War Comes Home: Washington's Battle Against America's Veteran."" Among other topics, he commented on the American soldier who killed five others at a clinic in Iraq earlier this week."
