"On toda?s Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer will speak with Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Jefferson of the 332nd Fighter Group, known as the Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen were comprised of 450 African Americans trained during WWII by the U.S. Army Air Corps to fly fighter aircraft to protect heavy bombers from enemy aircraft over North Africa, Sicily and Europe. Jefferson is speaking at SDSU tonight as part of the Harding Distinguished Lecture Series.
