She is the organizer of today’s Open Forum on Global Warming at Augustana. Next, a conversation with Carter Johnson, distinguished Professor of Ecology at South Dakota State University in Brookings, who has done extensive research on climate change and its effect on South Dakota; and with Doug Sombke, President of the South Dakota Farmer’s Union. Finally, Paul interviews Black Hills State University Biology Professor, Dr. Brian Smith. Smith is leading a movement by colleges and universities in South Dakota to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by broadening recycling programs and increasing efficiency.
