Today's show originates from the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research in Hill City, SD which features the largest private fossil company in the world. Institute Vice President Neal Larson talks with Paul Guggenheimer about ammonites, fossils and the American Museum of Natural History.
Kristin Donnan-Standard, co-owner of the Black Hills Fine Art Foundry and Art of the Hills Magazine, discusses how Hill City has emerged as one of the leading arts communities in South Dakota. She's joined by renowned bronze sculptor Peggy Detmers.
Paul also visits with film producer Sean Covel. His producing credits include "Napoleon Dynamite" as well as "12 Dogs of Christmas," "Think Tank," "Beneath" and "Cafe." He is writing a screenplay in Hill City.
