The Keystone XL pipeline has become a political football, kicked from one Congressional bill to another, the subject of veto threats and national protests. At the local level, the rhetoric isn’t as hysterical, but the passions are strong when land, water, and heritage are at issue. For today’s Dakota Digest, SDPB’s Victoria Wicks talks with some activists and landowners who came together last weekend in Rapid City.
