Air Date: 08/13/2011

Watch Brulé live online here on Saturday, August 13, 8:00pm CT from the Wayne S. Knutsen Theater on the campus of the University of South Dakota.

About Brulé

Brulé, the leader - composer/producer/keyboardist Paul LaRoche - has created a mix of rock, new age and Native American sounds that is compelling and entirely unique.

The rest of the band, also known as AIRO (American Indian Rock Opera), for this special concert includes Nicole LaRoche, lead instrumentalist on flute; Shane LaRoche on guitar; and Lowery Begay on the traditional Native American drums and percussion. The LaRoches are all Lakota and members of South Dakota's Lower Brule Tribe, Begay is a member of the Diné Nation.

Brulé has sold more than 1 million CDs worldwide and has been named Native American "Group of the Year" three times by the prestigious Native American Music Awards (NAMMYs). They have earned a total of seven NAMMYs since 2002.
