SDPB's Charles Michael Ray talks with Dr. Katie Bertrand about a new study. Bertrand is a Stream Fish Ecologist at SDSU. Her study looks at how climate change might affect some of the native fish populations in South Dakota. It includes a set of artificial streams on the SDSU campus where the water temperature and conditions can be varied to observe the impact on fish population.

SDPB's Kealey Bultena attended a recent Innovation Fair at the Raven research farm north of Sioux Falls. She talks with several people as she learns about precision agriculture and the tools available to farmers.

SDPB's Charles Michael Ray speaks with Kathy Neitzert who is a USGS Hydrologist about using unmanned drones to study the rate of erosion on the Missouri River shoreline.
