General Information & Tours Planning a trip to the Capitol Building in Pierre? Self-guided tour brochures are located in a stand inside the north doors of the building. The Capitol Building is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thanksgiving week through the legislative session, the capitol building is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tours can be scheduled by calling (605) 773-3688. |
